         The Ellensburg Rodeo is one of the top 25 PRCA outdoor rodeos in the nation with over 500 contestants and more than $250,000 in prize money. Having first started in 1923 it is considered one of the "old" rodeos. Every Labor Day weekend begins with a Friday evening performance, followed by an afternoon performance on Saturday and Sunday. The grand finale is

 Monday's Labor Day Championship Finals.

You can also watch the Dodge Xtreme Bulls Finals on Saturday evening 
where top PRCA cowboys compete for the number one position.

12:00 pm CWU Rodeo Bowl football game
